Choozle has expanded its European Union footprint with the opening of a London-based office with key personnel, Austin Saunders and Kristen Ditsch, to manage European operations. With the major growth in online display advertising in the European Union, Choozle recognized a significant opportunity to provide a data-driven programmatic advertising platform in a single, simple interface to advertising agencies within the European market.
“We are delighted to have a seasoned digital media veterans like Austin and Kristen to spearhead our expansion into the UK and across Europe,” said Andrew Fischer, co-founder and CEO of Choozle, “We are committed to providing agencies with the best demand-side buying technology in ad tech, along with the exceptional client service we’re known for.”
Austin Saunders and Kristen Ditsch, will support Choozle’s entry into the local British market and manage European operations. Saunders, formerly GroupM Business Director at The Exchange Lab, has been named Commercial Director of UK. In this position, he will oversee all United Kingdom and European commercial sales to increase Choozle’s global presence. In addition, Kristen Ditsch, Senior Manager of Client Success, has re-located from Denver to lead client support via onboarding and support, and client education materials. She will also act as account strategist to Choozle’s international clients, advising partners on campaign strategy and optimization, industry trends, and how to leverage programmatic in-house to grow their business.
Fischer added that he expects robust growth in the European markets in the near- and long-term, citing an eMarketer report published in September 2016 that puts European programmatic advertising spending at $4.08 billion which will account for 70% of all UK digital display ad spending by the end of 2017.
